While you may be computer savvy and feel comfortable online, completing your courses and an entire degree program online with no physical classroom or face-to-face contact presents its own challenges. Skills that are critical to online learning success include an ability to plan and manage time, particularly since there is no structured “class time;” the capability to communicate clearly and effectively online where there is no nonverbal or visual feedback; and the capacity to use technology effectively. This Discussion provides you with an opportunity to think about your skills in the above areas, to explore strategies for successful online learning, and to share some of those strategies with, and gain strategies from, others in the course.
With these thoughts in mind:
