Company – Apple

1) Analyse and evaluate the current strategic situation of the company(Apple) (emphasising the benefits and problems). Consider the following aspects.
-What overall strategy the company(Apple) uses? In your opinion, is this the correct strategy? How responsive is the company to differences among nations? Why the company is active in specific markets and not in others?
2) What are the key challenges facing the company?
3)Suggest alternative strategy directions and indicate which strategy you find most promising and suggest how the company may go about implementing this strategy.

Please focus mainly on questions 1 & 2.

Assessment Criteria:
-Evidence of well-planned, organised and structured approach to the task set (clear logical structure in required format)
-Critical Evaluation of company strategy with strong application of available models and concepts. (useful references to the strategies of industry rivals/performance measure provided if possible)
-Informed and justified recommendations for the improvement and/or development of the company’s strategy and operations.
-Accurate use of the Harvard Referencing system.
