Solution should start with a clear statement of the problem, a summary of the given information, what is to be solved for, and then a clear and easy to follow solution with diagrams where appropriate and highlighting any assumptions made along the way. If you believe that a parameter or an important piece of information has been inadvertently omitted, assume a suitable value, clearly stating it, and continue with the solution.
