Systematic Educational Evaluation
Prepare an evaluation report to the superintendent of the school district and the chairman of the school board based on the following information and data:

Program Evaluated: Elementary school after-school program for grades 3-5.
Number of schools sampled: 3
Length of time program in operation: 2 school years
Length of daily operations: 3 hours; 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Goals of program: Improve students academic performance
Improve social behavior and discipline of
students
Reduce opportunities for student engagement in
Illegal activities

Number of students to be served each year: 900 (100 from each grade level from each school)
Number of students sampled for evaluation: 300 (100 from each school).
Staff: 45 (15 per school)
Content of activities: 1 hour homework and review of class work
1 hour of music, theater, art
1 hour of student-selected recreational
activities

Support Resources: Bus transport, snacks, art supplies.
