The influence of Basel III in the French banking sector.
French student in Master’s. This is my master thesis topic. I need to say what Basel III is and the changes it brought to the french economy. I should analyze the business models (annual reports, balance sheets, financial reports and statements) of two major French banks: Societe Generale and BNP Paribas. I need to analyze the changes of capital requirements;liquidity and the behaviour of these banks after the implementation of Basel III(2011, 2012,2013,2014). Of course I need a background of Basel I and II before to see what the difference between these accords is. As well I need to see a little the impact of the 2008 crisis in the French banking sector (and these two banks specifically). Please ask me for any questions you might have. It has to be around 50 pages.
