Topic: Effective Practices in elementary classrooms
Order Description
Identify two articles that address effective practices in inclusive classrooms.
The articles should come from the journal Teaching Exceptional Children. (This is the research to practice journal of the largest professional organization for special
educators in the U.S., the Council for Exceptional Children. The journal is available electronically through the library.) The articles must be published between 2005
and 2014 (including TECPlus on-line articles).
Ensure that both articles describe an effective practice that can be used in an inclusive elementary classroom.
Read the articles several times to gain in depth understanding of the practices they describe.
Use the rubric below to guide the writing of your paper.
The paper should include a cover page with a title and your ID number, 3-4 double-spaced pages of narrative (12-point font, 1-inch margins), followed by references
(using APA style). An abstract is not required.
