TOPIC of the Essay: Pretend you are a writer, and you are preparing a chapter in a book for first-time travelers and/or immigrants to the United States. Identify at least three aspects of American society, culture, and/or politics that are often misunderstood by outsiders. Describe your understanding of and experience with those aspects. Your goal is to provide some insight for the future American tourists and/or immigrants, so they are better prepared for their trip and/or move.
