Tourist Destinations

Task 1: REFERRED
1.1 and 1.2 refer. Your work has included some research but this is not related to the criteria. Please refer to your assignment brief and class/workshop notes to submit for your final attempt.
To pass 1.1 you need to: 1.1 analyse main tourist destinations and generators of the world in terms of visitor numbers and income generation. To pass 1.2 you need to analyse statistics to determine tourism destination
trends and predict future trends

Task 2: REFERRED
2.1 refer. This work is descriptive and limited. To pass 2.1 you need to analyse cultural, social and physical features of tourist destinations explaining their appeal to tourists. It is advisable that at least 2 or 3 of each feature is analysed. 2.2 no evidence

Task 3: REFERRED
3.1 no evidence. 3.2 refer. You have confused the criteria and you are trying to address other parts. 3.2 requires you to evaluate how characteristics of a tourist destination affect its appeal. This is much better. However, you need to evaluate what a destination does well and what it does not do well. What is the effect on the appeal of a place because of these factors?

Task 4: REFERRED
4.1 no evidnece. 4.2 refer. Despite the good start you have not discussed the potential for responsible tourism to enhance the host community at worldwide tourist destinations. What could a destination do for local people that would allow responsible tourism/tourists? Research about some projects that have taken place and link them to your chosen destination.
