TWO EXTEMPORANEOUS SPEECHES-ONE TOPIC,TWO AUDIENCES

For this assignment, you will post two extemporaneous speeches about a single topic, but each speech should be directed to a different audience. For example, you might argue in favor of eliminating grades from college classes, with current students as one audience and with potential employers as another audience; you might discuss the parts of an airplane with a group of mechanics as one audience and a group of nursing home residents as another audience. Each speech should be 2-3 minutes long,. You don’t need to do a lot of research or a formal outline, but you do need very strong extemporaneous delivery, with attention to both the verbal and nonverbal messages you send.

At the top of each speech briefly describe the topic, the audience, and your purpose for each speech in a sentence or two.
