Vision and Strategic Direction
On completion of this discussion, you will be able to:
• Examine the leader’s role in creating the vision and strategic direction for an organization.
Examine your current or former organization and leadership:(Army Aviation)
1. State the company’s vision and leadership style(s).
2. Analyze a link between vision and change. Include examples with your analysis. Discuss the effectiveness or ineffectiveness of this link.
3. Examine your organization and its leadership to explain how vision is created and the link to strategic direction.
Include at least three scholarly resources from the library to support critical thinking. Relate to leadership theory and leadership style.
Be certain to integrate the readings and research from the online library to support your opinions. You must cite your sources in text and include multiple references in addition to the textbook for your initial response and your replies.

• Examination of the relationship between vision and change is supported by reasons, examples, and references to scholarly literature.
