The volcanic eruptions in Hawaii have made news recently because the slow moving flows have begun to strike homes and swallow them in its path. How can civil engineers prevent this unique natural disaster? Use the location of the Hawaii eruptions as a case study and think about which tactic for preventing more distraction is the most feasible.
