Format of the Essay
A title page with a title, your name, section, UW net ID, the name of the module, and the name of the assignment you are doing.
A table of contents if it is more than a few pages
An introduction and conclusion and transitions between the major reasons for your claim
Citations where needed.
For example, if you got an idea directly from a source, say so right in the place where you mention the idea. If you quote directly from a source, say where the quote came from right where you quote it.
Put the citation in parentheses like this (Kerns, 2012). In this example, Kerns is the author of the page or article you are referencing. It must match one of the references at the end of your essay.
A references section. Feel free to do more, but the minimum amount of info for each reference is
A title
An author
A date
A URL or other source identifier
A statement of why you trust this source
