It took more than 35 years to develop the existing innovative Oracle Database. Oracle Corporation was initially founded in the year 1977 as a consultancy with the name Software Development Laboratories. After the foundation the name has been changed twice, initially as Relational Software Incorporation and followed by another name called Oracle Systems Corporation. Three people namely Larry Ellison, Bob Miner, and Ed Oates first started oracle.
