Why is a high degree of corruption compatible with growth is some countries but not in others?
This essay should be analytical. Basically you need to start by defining corruption as it is done in the beginning of the lecture slides and give a competing view on the definition of corruption. For the first para define and then outline what the essay will look to achieve and talk about the structure of the essay and what you will discuss through the essay.
And what is very important is that you look at countries as well which may have curbed corruption or low levels of corruption but are still not developing that well
And also countries with seemingly high levels of corruption but still having a high rate of development.
Analyse other factors to development that are important for development even though there may be corruption(do this by analysing a given country)
