In a paper of between 825 words, the team will present its summary, analysis, critique, suggestions for improvement or change to the particular section of legislation reviewed, and predictions of specific impact(s) that portion of the legislation will have on the healthcare industry. Each team needs to look at the actual federal legislation, as well as law reviews or articles in scholarly journals about the legislation and healthcare reform in general. You should look at the U.S. Supreme Court cases upholding the legislation. The papers should be balanced in discussing both the positives and negatives of the portion of the legislation examined. Editorials, magazine articles, letters to the editor, blogs, etc. are NOT acceptable resources to use in constructing this paper. Wikipedia and other online encyclopedias are NOT permitted, per UIU policy.
