The paper will be a persuasive essay of at least 1200 words on the following topic: The Most Important Event in History during your life time… I choose the paper to be on the bombing and attack of the twin tower, 9/11
Can we really say that any one event is the most important in history? If you don’t feel you can do so, find an event that you feel has had enormous impact on world history and use that, (twin tower, 9/11) We will take a very liberal definition of the word “event,” so this doesn’t have to be a momentary occurrence.
This will be a research paper, and at least three outside references should be used. You may use World Views, (textbook for class) as a reference, but only once. You are welcome to use more than three total sources, but are not required to.
The paper must be in MLA format. A title page is necessary. Title page and works cited page do not apply to page count. The paper should be double-spaced, one inch margins all around, use Times New Roman 12, and use standard MLA format requirements.
