In 2015, the challenges for MultiNational Companies (MNCs) are many in their effort to internationalise their activities and sustain a competitive edge. As developments in the global landscape shift rapidly, the role of people remains paramount and so does the necessity to manage Human Resources across borders effectively. Selecting an organisation of your choice (preferably an established MNC as that will facilitate your research), you are to investigate its policies and practices pertaining to IRTM (eg International T&D, Rewards, Recruitment & Selection, Global Talent Management etc.) and examine their contribution to the success of the internationalisation efforts (eg. expanding in new markets), and overall corporate strategy. You are to draw on both theory and practice in order to develop and support your arguments.
