I work as a security guard at the mall at night and I deal with a lot of homlesss people who come to the mall parakade and either they do drugs or come there to get off there high or look for shelater also a lot of drug dealings happens there as well.
For my reserach topic i would like to look into “criminal involvement/drug among homeless people” Currently at my DFS I deal with a lot of homeless people who are either are on drugs or very intoxicated. They come around my work do consume drugs as well because the location is well hidden.

What do readers need to better understand your research project?
Readers need to have some knowledge on the types of drugs that the homeless people use, the criminal activities that they are involved in as well as the causes of homelessness. Information in these areas will be beneficial because it will give the reader an insight in understanding the research topic.
What methods do you plan to use to provide data?
Quantitative methods will be used to provide data. These methods provide accurate and objective results, which can be analyzed using various statistical techniques. The research will use surveys and the existing statistics on the issue of research to acquire data and afterwards make conclusions.
How will you validate your findings?
Findings will be validated by the use of literature review and the study of the lifestyle of the homeless people. Literature review will help to give accurate information on the researches done before on the same topic; hence the information given will be credible. Studying the lifestyle of the homeless people will help get first hand information about their daily activities; therefore, validating the findings.
What ethical issues will your study present?
Some of the ethical issues the research will consider are confidentiality and anonymity of the informants, respect of the autonomy of the individual, and allow for participation at one’s will. In addition, special care in the approach of vulnerable groups such as children will be taken into consideration.
