Consider ethnicity, gender, religion, geographic location, age, generational, and other personal characteristics that influence your perspective and communication in a group.
What values and perspectives do you hold as a unique individual in addition to the characteristics above that influence your contribution to a group? For example, what unique experiences from your life shape your values about communicating to people in positions of authority, or communicating difficult messages, or standing out in a group?
Have you ever viewed diversity as a challenge rather than an asset? Explain why. Explain what challenges you might experience when communicating with a diverse group.
