Ethnic and Cultural Factors in Health Decisions
The use of lay health workers or community health workers has become more common.
– (a) Explain how you would incorporate these individuals to improve the health of a community and
– (b) What barriers you may encounter in persuading a passive member of a community to take a more active role for improving health.
– (c) Describe how one could overcome these barriers.
