Drawing on evidence and theoretical models where appropriate, write an individual critical reflection of 1000 words that provides an account of the personal and professional learning and development gained from completion of the process of developing the learning and talent development strategy proposal in collaboration with others.
To be critical, you need to answer the so what? And now what? questions in Borton’s framework
• Critical reflection on the process of collaborating with three other student to complete a task in researching for a solution for an incompetent company
• Critical reflection on the presentation including personal contribution Analysis – 30%
2) Using a model of reflection as the basis for your writing e.g. Borton (1970), critically examine your experience in approaching the task – working as a group and your own contribution. Use the questions to help you reflect handout also as a guide

• Use of a theoretical model to analyse learning achieved and reference made to appropriate theories and models relevant to the content of the presentation – Literature Review – 25%
3) As part of your analysis, you should refer to relevant academic sources e.g. “when I learnt about the 10 key factors in effective design (Stewart and Rigg, 2011), I felt I better understood ……” You should also reference the framework for reflection you have used.
• An overall assessment of personal and professional development against objectives set – Conclusions and Recommendations – 25%
4) Looking back to where you started (see point 1) how do you think you have developed personally and professionally through undertaking the Severn Trent Challenge assessment? What knowledge, skills and behaviours have you developed? Have you developed your weaknesses you identified existed at the outset? Have you learnt new things?
• Professionally presented with correct use of Harvard Referencing throughout. Presentation and References – 10%
5) Your word count for the reflection is 1000. You can write in the first person e.g. I felt ……. Try to write about your thoughts and feelings throughout the process (like you would write a diary) both positive and negative feelings, and what sense you make of those thoughts and feeling now, looking back.
