Managed Care Plans
Discuss in what type of market situations (size, growth, trend, area, etc.) might each type of managed care plan (HMO, PPO, POS, etc.) be the preferred model? Why? Utilize a minimum of two scholarly and/or peer-reviewed sources that were published within the last five years, other than the course text. Next, examine at least two managed care plans from real life and their market situation. Using the two managed care plans selected, determine which one would be the optimal choice for a family vs. and individual. Why? Support your answer with a detailed response and analysis.
