Chapter 3 discusses environmental factors of marketing.  Specifically, a range of micro environmental and macro environmental factors were introduced.

For a company of your choice (not Apple and not one you discussed in a previous DQ ), identify two factors in the company’s macro environment and discuss how these

factors could impact the firm’s performance (positively or negatively).  This discussion should be specific to your chosen company’s industry (not general in nature).

Chapter 4 discusses how marketers can gain customer insights by using various marketing research tools.  Primary and secondary methods of data collection can be

distinguished.

Compare the three different types of research approaches for gathering primary data.  Which type of research would be most appropriate, in your opinion, for deciding

what colors to use in a new package design for a relaxation drink (non-alcoholic)? Why?
