Experiment with several ways to find and share a piece of information.

Imagine that you were at an art museum by yourself and just saw a work of art you really, really liked. (If you live in Eugene consider going the downtown Eugene Post Office, Willamette and 5th Street, where there is a great set of large murals by Oregon artist, Carl Morris). Select a piece of art that you want to use in this exercise and save the image so you can research it and then post it in your blog.

You were so impressed with this original work of art that you promised yourself to find out more about it and send some information to your best friend that would show your excitement about it and encourage them to go see it soon.

Your assignment is to prepare a message to your friend that includes such enticing information about the art that would make your friend want to see it immediately!

Do some research on this art work, including the artist, the time period it was made, and why you were so attracted to it.

Send your information using at least two media formats, in addition to text. For instance, find a video online to send; find photographic details of the art; narrate a short audio track that tells of your excitement about the work; send a digital file of a piece of music that relates to the topics in the art; make a collage using images from the art and other artwork from the historical period in which it was made.

But what if a big storm hit your home site and you were without electricity for three whole days and the road was blocked from your home so you and your family became isolated in your home, which was well stocked with food and water. How would you spend your time? Do you think you would enjoy time away from your devices and immediate links to your friends? Could you find other ways to take notes, engage in communications, and entertain yourself?Write at least 100 words.
