Assignment Brief:
Looking to the future (say the next ten years) with reference to the Next Generation Manufacturing Strategy; then the decisions about a particular process requires decisions about plant equipment and technology. Those decisions can be complex because alternative methods of production are present in virtually all operations functions and manufacturing facilities. Therefore, explain as to how you would logically select any future plant equipment and technology for your Next Generation Manufacturing Strategy for any medium manufacturing enterprise (SME).
*small medium enterprise = 250 personnel + 40-50 million incomes per year.
