Product development

For this assignment, you may use either a real company or create a fictitious company to which you will submit this proposal. You will be writing this proposal as if you are a purchasing agent or qualilty control specialist making a recommendation to your manager or supervisor to switch from one product to the other for any reason you may determine (pricing, quality, availability, etc.).
Choose one inexpensive product (under $10) that you use on a regular basis.
Note: A product is a category of goods.
For example, dishwashing liquid is a product.
Dishwashing liquid with lemon is a different product than plain dishwashing liquid.
Choose two brands of that product you decided to use.
Note: A brand is essentially a name and/or image used by a company to sell a product.
For example, Dawn dishwashing liquid and Gain dishwashing liquid are two different brands of the same product.
The product can be anything you like, with a few exceptions: no alcohol, no drugs (illegal or prescription or OTC), any service, or any physical place. The unit cost must be under $10
