Here are the instructions for installing SimVenture on your Windows laptop for YOUR own group. If you have problems let me know, it is not totally straight forward so take your time and read the instructions carefully. Apparently there may be an issue with Windows 10 but there is a workaround.

1) Click on http://www.simventure.co.uk/Customers/SimVenture%20v48%20Setup.exe and download the software to your computer (please download it first and then run it rather than running it directly within your internet browser).
2) Run the downloaded file and use the password “mongoose48” to complete the installation.
To activate the software, do the following:
1) Run SimVenture (using either the start button in Windows or a shortcut if you asked for one in the installation.
2) Click on the Licensing button on the front screen and select Activate Licence.
3) You will be shown a window which gives instructions to email 2 codes – please ignore this.
4) Click on this link http://www.simventure.co.uk/webactivation.html to open the activation website:
5) Enter the sitecode and MID displayed on the SimVenture “Activate License” screen. We recommend you use copy and paste if at all possible to avoid errors. Please do not enter the words “sitecode” or “MID” as part of the code.
6) Enter the unique License Code given you beforehand.
7) Select the reason for activation.
8) Click on the submit button.
9) The activation code will then be displayed. Copy and paste this code into the activation code box in SimVenture.
10) SimVenture should now report “Application unlocked”.
