Strategy and Strategic Dilemmas

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Take a company of your choice.
Describe the key dilemmas that this company faces with particular respect to:
1. Foundations of Strategic Management
2. Internal Analysis – Resource Based View of Strategy
3. Environment and Competition: The market based view of strategy
4. Internationality: Globalisation v Localisation5.
5. Strategy Formation: Planned v Emergent
Format of the Project:
-The report should display a coherent structure i.e. title page, contents page, introduction, executive summary, methodology, findings, analysis, conclusions, recommendations, referencing and appendices.
-The written project is expected to consist of approximately 2500 words (not counting tables or inserts, introduction and conclusions).
– All sources must be referenced in the text and a full bibliography must be provided
(including visited websites) in the Harvard style.

Successful completion of this assessment should be able to:
Critically evaluate the key dilemmas in the formation of strategy.
Critically evaluate and define strategic options.
