The objective of this essay is to introduce you to the genre of Native American flute music.
For this essay, you will write a minimum of 250 words (approximately one double spaced page) for each of the following sections in chapter 3:
Pages 56-62 (Intro through Native American Flute Origin Stories)
Pages 63-73 (Native American Flute Performers)
For each of the sections listed above you will: a) summarize the major points/themes of the section; and b) personally reflect upon the experience of reading the chapter and these sections in particular. Was the information new to you? How does this information change your understanding of Native American flute music and the musicians who perform it?
