The terms globalization and global have been used in a wide variety of ways, however the terms generally include the concept the world’s cultures are becoming more alike and local differences are lessening (Parande,2012). What benefits can a manager working across cultures gain from thinking in terms of globalization? How can organizations ensure their managers gain such a skill? What limitations or problems come from assuming globalization is lessening the world’s cultural differences?
