You Don’t Need a Title to be a Leader, by Mark Sanborn

Is a 600-2,000 word (more if you deem it necessary) analysis of any non-fiction, non-text book in which the primary topic is leadership. Make sure you note how the work reflects your knowledge and experience (or lack thereof) with the topic.

Your review should include the following: Citation; A summary of the book (usually one or two paragraphs), the significance of the book (does it fill a void, what is the author(s) trying to accomplish, do they succeed, is it biased, is it practical [i.e., does it have application in the real world of leadership], etc.); Your evaluation of the book: Is it well written? Clear? Understandable? Etc. additionally, you should note how the work reflects your knowledge and experience (or lack thereof) with the topic. If you choose a leadership book that is not CJ based, make sure you apply the concepts therein to criminal justice.
